Language has relation with people every time they want to express
anything they fell, may be an ideas, felling, attitudes and experiences.
Language as a tool of communication is very important, so people have to
keep in touch and mastering it well especially English as language used in
the world. Related to its function as an international language, English
become great in many countries in the world.People need English to reach
what modern countries have achieved suchas technology and science.In this
modern era, English is used in all of sector. It is not only used in formal
situation but also used in informal situation. Translation is very inportant in
this global life. Indonesian is our national language. It is used in daily
commucation. Unfortunately, not all of information has been covered in
indonesian yet. Noun phrase is the grammar discussions which becomes
material in many schools. In the fact, most of student in An-Nasyiinenglish
course do not know how to transform a messege one language to another
language by their selves correctly and based on pattern.
In this case, the researcher used qualitative research approach.
Qualitative approach used to inquiry aimed in understanding human
behavior by building complex, holistic pictures of the social and cultural
settings in which such behavior occurs, This research will describes the
information about the analysis of translation error made by the elementary
student at ANEC (An-Nasyiin English course) at Islamic boarding school of
An-Nasyiingrujuganlaranganpamekasan. The Descriptive qualitative
incorporates a detailed description of people and places to carry the
narrative, a study with this mode might convey a typical day in the life of an
individual. I is use for identify the error, Classify the kinds of error and
describe the factor of these error.
The result of this research shows that there is indication about
error, it shown by other ten minutes given by the researcher, there are many
student replace their translation and other student is still by it. There are four
kinds of error made by student of An-Nasyiin English course and it have
mentioned by the writer in the chapter II. Those are omission error, addition
error, misformation error and misordering error. And it has four factors,
word by word translation, carelessness, lack of knowledge and comparative
taxonomy.
Referring to the research result, the researcher suggests to all
techers that good quality in transferring experiences about translation to
may need another one, as this research proved that theories of noun phrase
may play crucial role in translation. so far it was seen very important.
