THE TEACHING WRITING STRATEGIES FOR TENTH GRADE STUDENTS AT MA AL FALAH AL ISLAMI BANCELOK SAMPANG

In learning process teacher becomes part of successful language teaching. In the class teacher has an important role in the class for the students successful, writing comprehension is not simple subject that teacher learned for the students. The aimed of teaching writing skill is to make students able to know the writing comprehend and receive the knowledge of writing.
In this research there are three focuses of research that try to find the solution by the researcher. The first focuses of research is what are the strategies that teacher used in teaching writing skill, the second is the teacher strategy that can make students attend greatly in the class, and the las is the advantages and disadvantages of teacher strategy in the eleventh grade of MA Al- Falah Al- Islami Bancelok Sampang.
In this research the researcher used qualitative approach and kind of research is descriptive research. The data source got from teacher that teaching writing skill and also from the students who had interviewed by researcher. In collecting the data the researcher used some procedure, those are: observation, interview, and documentation. For getting the validity of data, the researcher used triangulation of data.
The result of research show teacher strategy in teaching writing skill, those are storytelling and GTM, and the teacher strategy to make students attend greatly is using storytelling strategy, and for the advantages is to make students easier in comprehend the writing subject, interact with the English subject.
Based on the result above, the researcher gave some suggestion to the students that researcher interviewed those are: have to motivated themselves to be a good students, improve their comprehend about writing skill, read an English passage more, read a grammar book more.
