The Correlation between Kinesthetic Learning Style and Kindergarten students’ Vocabulary Knowledge at RA AL-JAWASH, Murtajih

In learning English language the most important thing that must learn by student is vocabulary. Without vocabulary we cannot read, write, speak, and understand English language. In learning vocabulary student have different learning style. For kindergarten students usually they have kinesthetic learning style. They need to move their body to make them understand, remember new vocabulary hat they get from their teacher.
This is a quantitative research. Problem of this research is“is there any correlation between kinesthetic learning style and kindergarten students’ vocabulary knowledge”. Based on the research problem the objective of the research is to know the correlation between kinesthetic learning style and kindergarten students vocabulary knowledge.
In this research, the researcher uses a quantitative approach, by using statistical method namely correlation coefficient r product moment. The population of this research is at kindergarten student of RA AL-JAWASH Murtajih which consist of 34 students. The researcher take sample in B class consist of 15 student. The instrument which were used in conducting the research are documentation, test, and observational checklist.
The result of this research shows that the correlation of kinesthetic learning style to the kindergarten students’ vocabulary knowledge at RA AL-JAWASH Murtajih, Pamekasan is sufficient. It is proved from the result of correlation coefficient r product moment for n=15 got score 0,581 is higher than the table of coefficient r product moment in level of level standard 5% is 0,514. Furthermore, for score of rdf=13 got score 0,581 is consulted with the table interpretation of coefficient correlation r product moment in interpretation 0,40 till 0,70 is sufficient interpretation.
Based on the result of the research above, there is sufficient correlation between kinesthetic learning style and kindergarten students’ vocabulary knowledge at RA AL-JAWASH Murtajih.
