Classroom interaction appears when teacher does some conversations with students. Moreover it is happened in speaking class, where speaking ability become a target of achievement in teaching-learning process. Classroom interaction is process happen in teaching learning in the classroom between teacher and students and each other in creating learning condition.
Based on the case above, it can be appointed two research problems of this study in which they are: Is there any correlation between classroom interactions and the student’s speaking achievement At the Eight of Mts As-ShiddiqyKowelPamekasan and Significance the corelation between classroom interactions and the student’s speaking achievement
There are objective of study are : to measure thecorrelation between classroom interactions and the student’s speaking achievement At the Eight of Mts As-ShiddiqyKowelPamekasan and to test Significance the corelation between classroom interactions and the student’s speaking achievement
In this research, the researcher takes population research because in At The Eight Of Mts As-ShiddiqyKowelPamekasan only 30 student, so the researcher must be take all students.
The researcher uses the researcher use objective questionnaire, namely structured or close questionnaire. It contains the questions and alternative answer to them. The respondents are asked to cross the option the intend to. In this questionnaire, there are ten items which contain three alternative answers. They are alternative a, b, and c and the score of those alternatives are a=3 b=2 c=1.
The result of this research classroom interactionshave lowestcorelation between their speaking achievementat the Eight of Mts As-Shiddiqy Kowel Pamekasan. It shows that there is no correlation between conversation classroom interactions and their speaking achievementat the Eight of Mts As-Shiddiqy Kowel Pamekasan. Because “rxy” value of this research is 0,007, it is lower than the value of coefficient value of correlation “r” product moment whether in level significance 5 % with N 28 is 0,361.It is proven after comparing “rxy” value of this research with table of interpretation “r” product moment. “rxy” value of this research is 0,0077. It is between interval 0,00 – 0,20 with lowest interpretation.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for The English teacher should present the material of conversation in a enjoyable, relaxed, and understandable ways. For the student the students should be more active and creative in learning process especially in English Class and For the future researcher er a better research dialing with similar topic by using different research design.
