In this research, the reseacher uses Quantitative research approach exactly Experimental research design, and the population is all of VIII grade students of MTsN Pademawu Pamekasan and also the sample of this research is A class and B class. The instruments used in collecting data are test and documentation. This research was done two months since 23th February until 28th March 2015, The technique of data analysis used in statistical analysis exactly “t” test analysis.
The result of mean value after giving treatment from A class (variable X) is 83,125 and B class (variable Y) is 80,31, it has different 2,81 point. It means that students taught by using Cinderella’s film as instructional media has better score and mastering vocabulary than students taught using non media. There is significant differencess between students vocabulary mastery by using Cinderella’s film as instructional media using non media in teaching English vocabulary at VIII grade students of MTsN Pademawu Pamekasan. It is proven when the researcher compares t value with t table. , it is found that the result of t test for variable X and variable Y is 3,966. Whereas the number of subject Df is N - 1 = 64 – 1 = 63 and the critical value for t-table with significance level 5% is 2,00 and significance level 1% is 2,65. Thus, the value resulted from the
vi
computation is higher than t-table value. Because t value resulted ( t0 = 3,966) is higher than t table 1% and 5% , then Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So, variable X was have significant differencess than variable Y.
Based on result of this research above can be concluded that using Cinderella’s film as instructional media and using non media in teaching English vocabulary have significant differencess.
