The analysis of alphabet error on writing report text at the ninth grade of MTS Al-Abror Blumbungan

Writing is a medium of communication that represents language through the inscription of signs and symbols. In most languages, writing is a complement to speech or spoken language. Writing is not a language but a form of technology. Writing is one of important skill because through writing we can create vision and they can share their opinion and thought. Learner seldom write an English text that’s why most of learner do some erroe on their writing. In this case, the student did some alphabet error on their report text which is done because of their carelessness. There are three problems of study in this research; the first, what are the alphabet error written by student at the ninth grade of MTS AL-Abror Blumbungan. The second, what factor that makes the student at the ninth grade of MTS AL-Abror Blumbungan wrong in using or putting the alphabet and the last is how to solve alphabet error for student at the ninth grade of MTS AL-Abror Blumbungan.
The writer used descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study where the students grade and the teacher at third of MTS Al-abror blumbungan. Meanwhile, the data is collected from the interview, observation and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used data reduction, data display and verification. Moreover, to check the validity of data, the researcher used three triangulation that is triangulation of technique, source, time and member checking.
While observing the teaching process and the writing process, the researcher knew that in teaching kind of text, the teacher always asked the students to write and the researcher also knew that in the result of their hand writing there are some students who putting error alphabet on each word. The difficulties of writing and less understanding about the topic became the factor why they done the alphabet error. And based on the alphabet error and their difficulties there are some ways that they used to solve those problem which is the problem solver is come both of the teacher and students As the result, the writer concluded that in teaching kind of the text the teacher should ask the student to write in this case to increase their ability in writing and to prove whether the students understand or not in the material.
