The Analysis of Pronouns Errors of Writing Subject in the Fourth Semester at TBI STAIN Pamekasan

English has four skills, one of them is writing. Writing also can be used as a tool of communication or it can be used by the students to explore the ideas about something around them. Beside that, grammar is very important in writing, because grammar can ensure that writing can be easily understood by the people who read it. Grammar has the important roles in English language, especially in writing subject. Grammar consists of some rules, one of them is pronoun. Pronoun is the common rule that is used by students in writing, because pronoun is the rule that is used by the students instead of noun in some cases, such as subjective, objective and possessive. But sometimes, pronouns errors occur to the students in writing, so it is very important to be analyzed because the pronouns errors in writing can make the reader misunderstanding.
The research problems in this research are; What pronouns errorswritten by the students of writing subject in the fourth semester at TBI STAIN Pamekasan?.What factors causing the students make pronouns errors of writing subject in the fourth semester at TBI STAIN Pamekasan? While, the research objective in this research are; To find about the pronouns errorswritten by students ofwriting subject in the fourth semester at TBI STAIN Pamekasan. To find the factors causing the students make the pronouns errors ofwriting subject in the fourth semester at TBI STAIN Pamekasan.
The researcher uses the qualitative approach in this research. In this case, the researcher collects the data from the interview, observation and documentation. Data sources in this research are the college students and English lecturer in writing subject in the fourth semester at TBI STAIN Pamekasan.
The result of this research are; there are some of students who write pronouns errors in their writing. The factors causing the students make pronoun error are; the students habit make ungrammatical sentence and some of the students think that they not to study about structure again, even though in writing a paragraph or an essay.
The effort that is done by lecturer to avoid the pronouns errors in theirwriting are; the lecture gives the result of their score, it will become a guider to repair their errors. The lecturer corrects their errors and remind them about the material of grammar that they have learned.
Based on the result of this research above, the researcher recommends that the students should always practice and pay attention about the grammar in writing. The lecturer should always support and motivate the students to make a good writing.
