The Effect of Using Miniature as Instructional Media on Young Learners’ Vocabulary Achievement at Kindergarten Miftahul Ulum Lenteng Sumene

Miniature as instructional media is something that has mini form from the original form that use in education to achieve purpose of the study.With miniature as instructional media, the young learners can memorize vocabulary because they fell interested. As Abd. Mukhid stated that media is an instrument that make young learners interest to study.
There are two problem statements in this study. The first one is do the young learners that taught vocabulary by using miniature as instructional media has more vocabulary achievement than the young learners that taught vocabulary not using miniature as instructional media at kindergarten Miftahul Ulum Lenteng Sumenep. The second one is how the significance of the differences between young learners that taught vocabulary by using miniature as instructional media has more vocabulary achievement and young learners that taught vocabulary not using miniature as instructional media at kindergarten Miftahul Ulum Lenteng Sumenep.
In this research the researcher used quantitative approach with pre-experimental design. The population of this research is the total number of first level at Kindergarten Miftahul Ulum Lenteng Sumenep consisting 28 young learners.The researchers used population as sample. Research instrument which are used are documentation, pre-test and post-test. The researcher was analyzing by using t test formula.
The result shows, there is an effect of using miniature as instructional media on young learners vocabulary achievement at kindergarten Miftahul Ulum Lenteng Sumenep. This is proven with compare “t” value of this research with “t” table. The “t” value is 4,923. This value is more than “t” value of “t” table in level significance 5% and 1% with N 28. After the researcher examine the young learners use pre-test and post-test, the researcher know if there is differences between young learners that taught vocabulary by using miniature as instructional media have more vocabulary achievement and young learners that taught vocabulary not using miniature as instructional media at kindergarten Miftahul Ulum Lenteng Sumenep. It is proven from the value of post-test higher than pre-test value.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for English teacher to improve vocabulary achievement on young learners by using miniature as instructional media and to be creative teacher in teaching learning strategy. And the young learners should memorize vocabularies.
