Effect of Using U Shape Classroom Management Toward Students’ Speaking Achievement at the Third Semester of English Teaching Learning Program STAIN Pamekasan.

Speaking Achievement is students’ speaking acquisition in speaking English that can be indicated by tests or numerical value scored of test given by a teacher. Therefore, it is challenge for a teacher to manage the class well to create a condusive atmosphere in order to make students feel comfort to speak in speaking class. One of the way to support students are more active in that class is conducting classroom management, like using U shape that is chosen by researcher to help lecturer teaches speaking.
There are two problems of this research. The first is to find out whether the students who taught by using U Shape classroom management have better achievement in speaking class and The second is to find out how significance statistically the effect U Shape Classroom Management in speaking class at the third semester of English Teaching Learning Program STAIN Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher used Quantitative research approach exactly Non Experimental research design which data are analyzed by using statistical procedure and the population of this research is speaking class at the third semester of English Teaching Learning Program of STAIN. But researcher takes two classes randomly as a sample of research, and the result are D Class consist of thirty students as experiment group and E class as control group. The technique of data analysis used in statistical analysis exactly t-test analysis.
The result of this research showed that the students who are taught by using U Shape Classroom Management have better achievement on speaking than the students who are taught by traditional rows because the hypothesis which was stated that there is effect using U shape classroom management on students’ speaking achievement in speaking class at the third semester of English Teaching Learning Program STAIN Pamekasan is accepted, which the significance statistically is 95%. It proves that the obtained t is higher than the value of t table in df:50 (to : 3,068> tt : 2,01) while Df:60 (to : 3,068 > tt : 2,00)
Based on the result above, the researcher concludes that the using of U Shape Classroom Management on students’ speaking class should be continued as one of classroom management since it could increase the students’ speaking achievement. It is suggested for English teacher to conduct classroom management to creat enjoyful class.
