The Use of Pre Reading Plan strategy in Teaching Reading Comprehension at the First Grade Students of MA AL-AMIEN 1 Pragaan Prenduan Sumenep

Reading is one of the most important things in teaching learning process because reading can increase the students’ knowledge. Reading is one of English basic kills that emphasize students to comprehend some information about the text. There are many ways or strategy that can implement in teaching learning process, especially in teaching learning process of reading comprehension. One of them is the use of pre reading plan strategy in teaching reading comprehension.
In this research, To describe how the teacher use pre reading plan strategy in teaching reading comprehension, to identify some problems faced by the teacher in using pre reading plan strategy in teaching reading comprehension. And the last is to explain how the teacher solves the problem in using pre-reading plan strategy in teaching reading comprehension at the First Grade students of MA Al-Amien 1 Pragaan Prenduan Sumenep.
In this research the researcher uses qualitative approach, while the kind of research which the researcher used is descriptive qualitative. In collecting the data the researcher use three techniques, there are observations, interview and documentation.
The result of this research shows that in using pre reading plan strategy in teaching learning process of reading comprehension at the First Grade students of MA Al-Amien 1 Pragaan Prenduan Sumenep was success and makes the students motivate and interested in teaching learning process of reading comprehension when the teacher gave reading text to the students, the students can do easily. It also there are some problems in using pre reading plan strategy, some of them: The students do not know to make the meaning structured correctly, difficult to understand the meaning of the unfamiliar words, not comprehend the teacher instruction of that activity, and lack motivation. While the problems solve that got by the teacher: The students prepare by bring a complete dictionary, gave the students some vocabulary, and gave suggestion and motivation
