Speaking is spoken productive language skill. It means that student speak up produce spoken language that can make other students understand what they say. Speaking is one of the central elements of communication.In english foreign language teaching it is an aspect that needs special attention and instruction, it is necessary for teacher of english foreign language to examine carefully the factors, condition and components that underline speaking effectiveness to help learners speak english fluently and appropriately.
The study mainly aimed to know the implementation of lonely students game at SMPN 1 Pademawu Pamekasan. There are three problem statements in this study. The first one is How does the teacher implement of Lonely Student game on students’ speaking skill at the seventh grade of SMPN 1 Pademawu Pamekasan?the second is What are problems faced by the teacher in implementing Lonely Student game on students’ speaking skill at the seventh grade of SMPN 1 Pademawu Pamekasan?. The third one is How does the teacher overcome the problem faced during implementing Lonely Student game on students’ speaking skill at the seventh grade of SMPN 1 Pademawu Pamekasan?
This study is qualitative research. While this type of research shoos is Descriptive research. The subject of this study is seventh class students of SMPN 1 Pademawu Pamekasan which consists of 30 students. Research instrument which are used are observation, interview and documentation. The study took place for two days, from 19thMay 2014and24th May 2014.
The result showed that there are three steps on the teaching and learning process where the Lonely Student game is implemented at SMP SMPN 1 Pademawu Pamekasan. It is proved by the lesson plan that is used. The student is motivated when the student really feel enjoy because the situation in the Lonely Student game is how to student make enjoy with the learning process with use play the game.
It can be drown a conclusion that the Lonely Student game is good to be applied in speaking activity.
