The Use of Graffiti Strategy in Teaching Writing Skill at The Eighth Grade Students of MTs Islamiyah Tlanakan-Pamekasan

There are three research focuses in this study. The first, How does the teacher use of graffiti strategy in teaching writing skill at the eighth grade of MTs IslamiyahTlanakan-Pamekasan. The second,What are the disadvantages of the use graffiti strategy in teaching writing skill at the eighth grade students of MTs IslamiyahTlanakan-Pamekasan.The third,what are the advantages of the use graffiti strategy in teaching writing skill at the eighth grade students of MTs IslamiyahTlanakan-Pamekasan.
The researcher uses descriptive qualitative because this research will focus mainly on graffiti strategy used by teacher in teaching writing skill.In collecting data, the researcher usesnon participant observation. Type of interview that is used by the researcher is unstructured interview and documentation.
The teacher implementsGraffiti Strategy in Teaching Writing Skill at the Eighth Grade of MTs IslamiyahTlanakanPamekasan by using three steps; pre-teaching, whilst-teaching, and post-teaching. The teacher let the students draw based on the topic given. The Weaknesses found are: the students did not find any ideas, the students felt bored, and the facilities that the teacher prepared were not complete enough.And the advantages involve: the students can develop their ideas in writing, students got many vocabularies from their writing, the students can share with the other students in group and students can summarize all the ideas listed on their paper and present the result to the class.
Based on the result of the researcher suggest the English teacher should pay great attention to build a relaxed, happy, and conducive motivate the students to writing, the students should be active and spirit in teaching learning process to achieve the goal of that teaching learning writing
