The Influence Of Students’ Mastery Phrase on Writing Skill at The Eleventh Grade Of Madrasah Aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan

Phrase can be one of element in writing. Its imposible to creat good writing without mastering or knowing about phrase, because writing skill is a skill which students have to write something by combining letters in order to form words, phrase, and sentences which pay attention to the writing features such as, a content, organization, grammar, vocabulary and writing style.
There are two problem statements in this study. The first one is whether there is significant effect of Student’s mastery phrase on writing skill at the Eleventh grade of Madrasah aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan. The second one is How far the effect of Student’s mastery phrase on writing skill at the Eleventh grade of Madrasah aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan.
This study is to find out the effect of Student’s mastery phrase on writing skill at the Eleventh grade of Madrasah aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan and measure how significant the effect of Student’s mastery phrase on writing skill at the Eleventh grade of Madrasah aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan.
The population of this study is all the Eleventh grade of Madrasah aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan. Then the researcher takes one class students as sample of this study. Researchers took 100% from the students of second class only. Researchers choose one class from each class eleventh only remember that they represent the population. Thus, the population was 30 students. While, research instruments which are used are test and documentation.
The result showed that there is an effect Based on the statements above, we know that there is effect of Student’s mastery phrase on writing skill at the Eleventh grade of Madrasah aliyah Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan and the effect is statistically significant. It prove with t-value is higher than t-table either in 5%, or 1% (5% = 2, 05 < 10,017) or (1% = 2,76 < 10,017)
Based on the result above, it is suggested for English teacher to understand the student’s condition in the classroom, so the English teacher can solve the student’s difficulties especially in writing skill. The English teacher should have appropriate activity that is suitable with the material and students’ ability.
