The Implementation of Guessing Word Game in Teaching English at Seventh Grade of MTs Ainul Falah Guluk-guluk Sumenep

Every teacher should be able to teach in front of the class. Teaching is one of components from teacher’s competence, Then every teacher should master and skillful carrying teaching because it can determine to the result at the end of meeting. Teaching is a way used by teacher to deliver the material and the students can be interested in teaching English if English teacher uses various strategy and interesting method for students. One of method that can be used by teacher in teaching and learning process game and the name of the game is guessing word.
This research focuses on two problems which become the main discussion in this research: the first, how does the English teacher apply guessing word game at seventh grade of MTs Ainul Falah Bakeyong Guluk-guluk sumenep?, And the second is what are the obstacles of teacher in using guessing word game for the students at seventh grade of MTs Ainul Falah Bakeyong Guluk- guluk Sumenep?
In this thesis, researcher takes place at MTs Ainul Falah Bakeyong Guluk-guluk Sumenep and the approach of this thesis is qualitative, the data is gotten from interview, observation and documentation, then those data are analyzed with analysis qualitative-descriptive, then all of data that have been gotten are checked the validity of the data.
The result of the research shows that the English teacher uses game especially guessing word game to lost the boredom around the students. The English teacher try to make the students active in teaching and learning process, so that the students can get good achievement in learning. The hope of teacher to the students in using game especially guessing word game is to make the students participating in teaching and learning process. The activeness of the students when teaching and learning process is expectation in using guessing word game at seventh grade of MTs Ainul Falah Bakeyong Guluk-guluk Sumenep. The hope of students in learning English can run well then the students at seventh grade of MTs Ainul Falah can get progress in teaching and learning process. And the difficulties of teacher in using guessing word game is the media which in MTs Ainul Falah is still less so that it can make the game not run well then the students intention in learning English because the students intention in learning English are low then the availability of the medium and media are not good enough because the existence of media in the grade will make the students easy to catch the material that are given by the English teacher and make the English teacher easy to teach so that the English teacher should endeavor to make the students has the same intention with the others.
