Implementation Of The Beyond Center And Circle Times (BCCT) Method In The Teaching English For Young Learner At Al-Mukrimi Playground Talang Saronggi Sumenep In The Academic Year Of 2022/2023

The material of the beyond center and circle times (BCCT) method is to conduct
trainings that explain the development of early childhood in sensorimotor play. Such as
role playing and developmental play until the emergence of literacy based on
educational theory that is in accordance with children's development. There are three
main functions in the BCCT (Beyond Centers and Circle Time) method. This function
is in order to jump-start children's intelligence, inculcate basic values, and develop basic
abilities. BCCT is a learning strategy in which teachers bring the real world into the
classroom and encourage students to make connections between their knowledge and
its application in their daily lives. The researcher assembles a research objective to
describe the implementation and the factors supporting and inhibiting of the beyond
center and circle times (BCCT) method in the teaching Eglish for young learner.
The method used in this study is a qualitative method, while the type of research
used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive type which studies the existing
problems and the applicable working procedures. Data collection procedureare three
components, namely observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the
researcher uses a single case data analysis techniquewith a data analysis model
introduced by Miles and Huberman, namely the data analysis process is carried out
simultaneously with data collection through several stages starting from the data
collection process, presentation and verification or drawing conclusions.
This study resulted in a finding that: 1) The implementation with a) Planning
stage at Al-Mukrimi Playground Talang Saronggi Sumenep consists of two activities
(1) The teacher makes the RPPH, (2) Arranges the tools and playing materials to be
used according to the age group, welcoming students, playing opening (rough motion
experience). 2) Implementation stage is carried out by welcoming children; carried out
in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, invites children to play under the guidance of
their parents, starts activities with children starting to pray together, invites children to
go to the center or play activity center by singing together, 3) Assessment stage or
evaluation using daily student observation sheets, portfolios, and periodicals. 4) The
supporting and inhibiting factors are a) Supporting factors are when making RPPH
there are references to the promissory note (semester program) and prota (annual
program) from the principal and syllabus, good relations between parents and educators
and facilities that are quite complete, b) The inhibiting factors are the rather cramped
classrooms, the limited ideas in making a variety of games and the distribution of
