Teaching Speaking Using Picture Sequence Through Power Point Method
Used by Teacher Class Two Junior High School 5 Sampang in the Teaching
Process. The use of this method is to find out students' speaking skills in learning
English and can understand about learning English. So that by the implementation
of this method can help students learn easier in the classroom and also able to
collaborate with their classmates regarding learning.
Based on this, there are two problems that are the main studies in this
study, namely: First, how the teacher applies the teaching method of speaking
using a picture sequence through power point in teaching English speaking skills
in the second grade of Sampang 5 Junior High School, the two advantages And
lacking the Teaching Method Speaking using Picture Sequence Through Power
Point in teaching English speaking skills in second grade at Sampang 5 Public
Middle School.
This study uses a qualitative approach method with descriptive type. The
data sources used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation.
This is to find out the application of the Speaking Teaching Method using Picture
Sequence through Power Point in teaching speaking skills and also want to know
the advantages and disadvantages of Speaking Teaching using Picture Sequence
Through Power Point in teaching English speaking skills In the second grade of 5
Sampang Junior High School.
The results of this study indicate that the application of the demonstration
method in teaching activities is: First, the teacher stands in front of students and
asks students to listen to the material explanation after that the teacher asks two
students to apply or demonstrate the material that has been explained after that the
student is given the time to ask about the material that has been demonstrated
Teachers and students. Second, the advantages of the application of teaching
teaching using Picture Sequence Through Power Point, namely: clear and
concrete learning processes, learning easily understood, more interesting learning.
While the shortcomings of the application of speaking teaching using Picture
Sequence Through Power Points, namely: the concept of weak teachers, weak
electricity, requires a lot of time in its application
