Teaching Vocabulary Through English Movie With English Subtitles to Students'Vocabulary Mastery at the tenth grade of MA At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Raja Bluto Sumenep

Vocabulary is a core component of language proficiency and provides much of the basis for how well learners speak, listen, read and write, vocabulary is more than list of target languge words. Movie is one of the visual aids that show pictures with sound coming out through stereo sound, movies combine entertainment with instruction, make the learning process more enjoyable. Subtitle is the most common means of translating (mostly a video document), which makes the people enjoy to watching movie, it like they understand what the they speak.
There are three research focus in this research, the first is how is the process of teaching vocabulary through English movie with English subtitle to students'vocabulary mastery at the tenth grade of MA At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Raja Bluto Sumenep?, the second is what are the advantages teaching vocabulary through English movie with English subtitle to students'vocabulary mastery at the tenth grade of MA At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Raja Bluto Sumenep?, and the third is what are the disadvantages teching vocabulary through English movie with English subtitle to students'vocabulary mastery at the tenth grade of MA At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Raja Bluto Sumenep?. So in this research the researchers mentioned what are the advantages and disadvantages of teaching vocabulary through English movie with English subtitle.
This is a qualitative research, researcher collected the data from interview, observation and documentation. From the data collacted, researchers can know the teaching vocabulary through English movie with English subtitle to stuedents’vocabulary mastery at the tenth grade of MA At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Raja Bluto Sunenep.
The results of rsearch showed that teaching vocabulary through English movie with English subtitles can improve the English vocabulary of tenth grade students of MA At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Raja Bluto Sumenep. Because make students more happy to study vocabulary and students can memorize faster the vocabulay, and make the students interesting to study vocabulary.
