THE EFFECT OF KAHOOT GAME IN TEACHING ENGLISH LEARNING ON STUDENT’S PART OF SPEECH MASTERY AT ELEVENT GRADE IN SMAN 1 PAMEKASAN

Technology is being increasingly integrated into teaching environments in view of enhancing students’ motivation. In particular, game-based student response systems have been found to foster students’ engagement, enhance classroom dynamics and improve overall students’ learning experience. In phenomena, that the students’ surely will be interested with in teaching learning process which is packed with fun like use of instructinal media. Media that used like technology in games-based learning plafrom in accordance with the needs of students in improving learning, especially in learning English. In English also study about language first, and first step to learn it, is about word and sentence. However, the problem right now its about the lack of interest in the teaching learning process, it will give impact and influence the students in their ability that hard to catch the students explanation in english learning, so that, the students have difficult to product the english language especially in grammar, also confused to determine what is the word include. So that, the researcher are suggested to give new innovation by create a quiz in kahoot game that it is interractive game that hopes to answer the problem in the phenomenonyang berharap dapat menjawab masalah dalam phenomena.
The research problems of this study are the students taught english learning in grammar by using kahoot game have better in part of speech mastery at the eleven grade of SMAN 1 Pamekasan, and how significant effect of kahoot game on students part of speech mastery at the eleven grade of SMAN 1 Pamekasan.
This study to find out the effect of kahoot game on students part of speech mastery and to measure the significant of kahoot game. This study is true-experimental. There are two variable in this study, the independent variable is kahoot game and dependent variable is students part of speech mastery.
The population of this study is all eleven grade student of SMAN 1 Pamekasan that focuses on IPA class , Amount 282 student. Then the researcher takes 50 students as sample of this study. The researcher divided 50 students into two group. Research instrument which are used are test and documentation. The study took place for two weeks, from 15th January – 22th January 2020.the obtained data from test was analyzed by using independent t-test formula.
The result showed that there is an effect of kahoot game on students part of speech mastery at the eleven grade of SMAN 1 Pamekasan, and the effect is significant, the proof is the tvalue is higher than ttable (the critical value of test) either in 5% or 1% (5% = 2,01
