THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SILLY STORIES IN TEACHING SPEAKING SKILL AT ELEVENTH GRADE OF SMA NAZHATUT THULLAB PRAJJAN CAMPLONG SAMPANG

There are four skills in English language: namely speaking, writing, reading, and listening. From those skill, speaking is more difficult for foreign language learners because effective oral communication requires the ability to use the language appropriately in social interaction. They need to explicit interaction in speaking, which like any language skill generally has to be learned and practiced. Mostly, students say learn English is boring and difficult to be achieved moreover in speaking. So, in teach English Language especially on the speaking subject as a teacher should creative, imaginative, innovative, and communicative in learning process. In teaching speaking, the teacher can use creative method. Namely is Silly Stories.
there are two problem statemen of this study. The fisrt implementation of Silly Stories in speaking English skill, the second what the advantages and disadvantages got by the students of the game in speaking skills.
In this research there are scope and limitation. Scope in this study is apply English speaking skill of silly stories and the limitation at the eleventh grade of SMA Nazhatut Thullab Prajjan Camplong Sampang. This study designed by qualitative research, with descriptive research kind of study during the researcher analyzes by descritive analysis to answer research focuses.
The result of this study shows that the teacher implement of silly stories in a planned manner and the teacher from groupwork and individual in learning process, this method helps the teacher to teach more effective, made students more active in learning process, made the learning process more interesting and to increase students’ motivation to learn. And the students have positive responds in their psychology and speaking ability.
Based on the results the above research, it is recommended for teachers that this method of silly stories can be used for English lesson or speaking subject. Hopefully, this research provides new knowledge for all, especially in the context of education.
