THE STUDY ON DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE ACHIEVEMENT IN LEARNING WRITING SUBJECT AT SEVENTH GRADE OF MTS SEKAR ANOM BULANGAN TIMUR PAMEKASAN

Writing is an activity of expressing ideas and thought in comprehensive written from by combining letter in order to form words phrases and sentences. Every people have different ability especially in writing. The writing of female and male mostly have differences. From the theory that researcher got, female students better than male student in writing.
There are two problems of study in this research. The first is‘do male and female at seventh grade of MTs SekarAnomBulanganTimur have different achievement in writing subject’. The second is ‘is there any statistically significant difference between male and female in writing subject achievement at seventh grade of MTs SekarAnomBulanganTimur’.
The research is to know the different achievement between male and female in writing subject at seventh grade of MTs SekarAnomBulanganTimur, and to measure the statistical significant difference between male and female in writing subject at seventh grade of MTs SekarAnomBulanganTimur.
The researcher uses quantitative approach. The researcher use ex-post facto research design, because it has aim to measure the differences between male and female students. The total number of population of this research is 30 students. As well as the sample that is equal to 30 students. Female are 15 students and male are 15 students.
The result of this research shows that t-value of this research is 3,31 while the t-table in significance 5% is 2,05 (3,31> 2,05). It is proven that t-value is higher than t-table. It is showed that female students write their paragraph better than male students of seventh grade of MTs SekarAnomBulnganTimur. Where, the sum of total score of female students is 1048 while the sum of total score of male students is 856.
Based on the result above, it shows that the writing paragraph is able to realize the target. Therefore, the lecturer should be a good facilitator in motivating the students. From both of group (female and male) should increase their writing to develop their idea in order to increase their quality in writing. For the further researcher, this research is expected to be useful in getting information and knowledge.
