“Teaching is an active process in which one person shares information with others to provide them with the information to make the behavioral change”it means that teaching is one activity by the lecturer that gives clue to the students to get information or education about what the material that they will learn. Here most teaching English as foreign language is very important as the definition of teaching here the lecturer must be creative lecturer to arrange the material that relevant with the students’ ability dan the lecturer should be able to implement the models of teaching to be fun teaching and learning process in order to make the students easy to understand about what they are learning.
This research has three research problem that are: the first, What are the teaching modelsof Structure 2 used by the lecturerat the second semester of English Teaching Learning Program of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Madura. The second, What are the obstacles faced by the lecturer in teaching Structure 2 at the second semester of English Teaching Learning Program of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Madura. The third, How the lecturer solves the obstacles faced in teaching Structure 2 at the second semester of English Teaching Learning Program of State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Madura
In this study, the researcher use qualitative research. The researcher conducted observation, interview and documentation in collecting data. Because the researcher want to know what are the teaching models that used by the lecturer in teaching Structure 2 at the second semester of TBI IAIN Madura, what are the obstacles faced by the lecturer and how the lecturer solves them in teaching structure. To ensure the data which is gotten the researcher cheks validity of data by using triagulation.
Finally, this study is expented to be useful for the reader and future lecturer. The researcher believed that thesis is far from being perfect. So, the reseracher will accept good suggestions and contructive criticims to make this

thesis perfect. The researcher also hopes that the thesis will be usuful and contribute some valuable to the researcher herself and all readers the general.
