THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEWEST 2013 CURRICULUM ON TEACHING ENGLISH WRITING AT THE TENTH GRADE OF MA MIFTAHUL UUM BANYU AYU PAMOROH KADUR PAMEKASAN

English become a subject in educational institutions. From play group until university they taught an English subject although with different scope based on their degree. So that, there is no worry to be able to speak, write, listen, and read an English language because we can get it from educational institutions and others.
There are three research focuses in this study. The first, how does the teacher implement the newest 2013 curriculum on Teaching English Writing at the Tenth grade of MA MiftahulUlum Banyu AyuPamorohKadurPamekasan.The second and the third, what are the advantages and the disadvantages of implementing the newest 2013 curriculum on Teaching English Writing at the Tenth grade of MA MiftahulUlum Banyu AyuPamorohKadurPamekasan.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach. While kind of research, the researcher uses descriptive research. Because the researcher describes the implementation of the newest 2013 curriculum in teaching writing at the tenth grade of MA MiftahulUlum Banyu AyuPamorohKadurPamekasan, and what are the advantages and the disadvantages of that curriculum. To collect the data, the researcher used observation by entering to the classroom directly, interviewed with the students and the teacher, and documented by taking picture in the teaching learning process.
The result of this research found that the implementation of the newest 2013 curriculum in teaching writing at the tenth grade of MA MiftahulUlum Banyu Ayu used four steps. They are literacy activity, pre-teaching where the teacher gave warming up based on the topic teaching, whilst-teaching where the teacher applies the newest 2013 curriculum thoroughly, and post-teaching where the teacher gave conclusion, assessed the students,reflected the classroom activity, and closed the lesson. This curriculum provided some advantages such as: required teacher to be creative, students’ centered, provide PPK and literacy activity, stimulates the students to be better in asking, critical thinking, and increase character building. Besides, it provided the disadvantages such as: need much time to be implemented, students were still confused with it, and there are many materials which have to be comprehended by the students in one meeting.
Based on the result of research above, the newest 2013 Curriculum is effective to be implemented in the teaching writing because it can increase students’ motivation, achievement, enthusiastic and develop their English skill. The teacher also implemented it quite well. Therefore, the teaching learning process of writing was successful.
