THE IMPLEMENTATION OF “GUESS MY GESTURE” GAME AS MEDIA IN TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS OF WRITING DESCRIPTIVE TEXTS AT EIGHT GRADE OF MTS AL-ABROR AMBAT 2 PAMEKASAN

Writing is one of important subject in learning English because English is as foreign language for all students in Indonesia.
There are two research problem of study, those are : How does the teacher implement “guess my gesture” game in teaching writing at the eight grade of MTs Ambat 2 Pamekasan and how do the students response in the implementation of “guess my gesture” game in teaching writing at the eight grade of MTs Al-Abror Ambat 2 Pamekasan, while the research objectives are To explain how the teacher implement “Guess My Gesture” in teaching writing at the eight grade of MTs Al-Abror Ambat 2 Pamekasan and to describe the students responds on teaching writing by using “guess my gesture” game at the eight grade of MTs Al-Abror Ambat 2 Pamekasan.Guess my gesture game is a simple game which is ideal for small or big group competitions for middle school classes and up. Students have fun laughing at each other and trying to guess in English what is on the card.
This research uses qualitative research design, and the types of research is descriptive study that gives the information from the object of the study that is the implementation of “Guess My Gesture” game in teaching writing at the eighth grade of MTs Al-Abror Ambat 2 Pamekasan, and the subject of the study used English teacher and the students at the eight (VIII) grade. In this research, the researcher used three instruments to collect the data, there are interview, documentation and observation.
The result of this research showed that “Guess My Gesture” game were used in teaching writing that able to make the students able to make the teaching learning process more interesting, enjoyable and also motivate to the students to writing sentence. Game for the students at middle school is very familiar.
Based on the result of research above, “Guess My Gesture” game is effective to be implemented in teaching writing, it is suggested to the English teacher to implement “Guess My Gesture” game because, it make the students did not find difficulties in writing sentence.
