Facebook status may help to motivate and involves students rendering them more critical and less passive, which is an important goal of superior education. It is therefore acknowledged that despite its lack of focus in the development offormal learning, Facebook may be a relevant space for informal and cultural learning on what it is to be a university student. There are many students who studied english language, so that they can communicate each other.
This research is about to find out two problems of study. First, is there any Influence between English Facebook Status and student’s Vocabulary Mastery at Second Semester of IAIN Madura. And the second, How statistically significance Influence between English Facebook Status and student Vocabulary Mastery at Second Semester of IAIN Madura2018-2019 ACADEMIC YEAR.
This research is quantitative approach which the data are analyzed by using statistical procedures. In this research, the researcher uses correlation design namely product moment because researcher wants to answer the question and to get certainly about the correlation between the variables are significant or not, and also strong, enough, or weak Influence.
The result of this research shows that There is Influence between English Facebook Status and students Vocabulary Mastery at The Second Semester of IAIN Madura. It was proven from The result of data analysis or “r“ value of this research is 0.429. It is higher than the table of coefficient “r” product moment in level significance 5 % with N= 34 is 0,3291. There is significant Influence between English Facebook Status to students Vocabulary Mastery at the second semester students of English Teaching Learning Program IAIN Madura. It is proven by the table of interpretation “r”product moment that “r” value of this research is between “ 0,40– 0,70” that is the Influence between two variables is enough.
