THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) STRATEGY ON WRITING SKILL FOR SEVENTH GRADE AT MTs AN-NAJAH KADUR PAMEKASAN

Writing is one of the four language skills that can be measurement of literacy development in a country. In writing subject, there are some materials that intended to explore the students’ writing skill; one of them is writing a descriptive text.
Teaching writing for the students are not easy. To solve this problem, the teacher has to create approriate strategy to teach writing easily. Think talk write (TTW) strategy one of the strategy that can be used by the teacher in teaching writing. Think talk write (TTW) strategy starting with thinking through reading, the result of reading is communicate through presentation, discussion, and then making note about the result of discussion. This strategy is very usefull for the teacher in teaching writing.
This study is purposed to know how does the teacher implemented the strategy, what are the obstacles faced by the teacher and how the students responds in implementing think talk write (TTW) strategy.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach while the kind of research which is the researcher used is descriptive qualitative. In collecting the data the researcher uses three techniques. They are: observation, interview, and documentatio. There are some steps that researcher applied in collecting the data. They are; pre-research, the process of reseach, and arranging the result of research.
The result of this research bu using think talk write (TTW) strategy can make the students enjoy and interested in the english teaching process especially in writing skill. This strategy gives the teacher a good way in teaching learning process in the classroom. Although this stratgey makes the students active in the class, but is there some obstacles which is faced by the teacher.
