E-PEN AS A MEDIA IN LEARNING VOCABULARY AT 10TH GRADE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PUNCAK DARUS SALAM PAMEKASAN

Vocabulary is one important elements in language that should be understood by learners, because it supports the learning of language skill. So that vocabulary is one basic element of language. People who learn vocabulary in English which has no difficulties in expressing their ideas or concept.
There are three research focuses in this study, the first, The use of E-pen in learning vocabulary at 10th grade of senior high school Puncak Darus Salam Pamekasan. The second, the advantages and disadvantages of E-pen in learning vocabulary at 10th grade of senior high school Puncak Darus Salam Pamekasan. and the third the E-pen helps student in learning vocabulary at 10th grade of senior high school Puncak Darus Salam Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher used qualitative data management design and the researcher used descriptive analysis. Because it is intended to describe how the teacher uses of E-pen, the advantages and disadvantages of E-pen, and how does E-pen help student in learning vocabulary at 10th grade of senior high school Puncak Darus Salam Pamekasan.
The result of this researcher, found that E-pen is used by the English teacher in teaching vocabulary. In the second meeting the teacher divided the class into some groups. The teacher gives explanation to the students what should they have to do such the students make descriptive text by using E-pen then the students describe it. The teacher used the E-pen well. The English teacher that using the E-pen in learning vocabulary at 10th grade of Senior High School Puncak Darus Salam based on the three steps: there are pre-teaching, whilst-teaching and post-teaching. Additionally, there were some advantages, disadvantages and helps that the teacher faced during the activities in teaching learning process, those are: The advantages are the students were happy studying English language especially in Vocabulary subject while using E-pen as a media, in this media beside make the student have fun, it makes the student think how the media uses well. The disadvantages is the teacher got difficulty to prepare thing which is suitable with the material such reality.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for the English teacher to select a good media which is suitable with the condition of the students in the next. The teacher also should make the situation of the class is more active in order to students can study well.
