THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TONGUE TWISTER GAME IN TEACHING LISTENING AT THE SEVENTH GRADE OF MTS AL-BAYAN SANA LAOK WARU PAMEKASAN

Listening is the process of understanding speech in a first or second language. Students also have more capabilities to communicate with others very well because they have a good listening, it means that listening is one of major skills that every English student must had, besides listening to it is important in learning and mastering English. Anything we can do to make that easier will be useful for them, such as choose a game that suitable for them in the classroom. Tongue twister is the game chosen by the teacher at sechool MTs Al-Bayan Sana Laok Waru Pamekasan.
There are three research focus in this study. The first is How does the teacher implement tongue twister game in teaching listening at the seventh grade of MTs Al-Bayan Sana Laok Waru Pamekasan, the second is What are the problem faced by the teacher in implementing tongue twister game in teaching listening at the seventh grade of MTs Al-Bayan Sana Laok Waru Pamekasan, and the last is How does the teacher overcome the problems in the implementation of tongue twister game in teaching listening at the seventh grade of MTs Al-Bayan Sana Laok Waru Pamekasan.
The researcher conducted the research to find out the answer of those question have explained above. This study using a qualitative approach. The researcher described all the finding from the research, therefore this research used descriptive research design. The researcher used observation, interview and documentation.
The result of the study shows that the teacher implement of tongue twister game in a planned manner in the teaching learning process. The teacher can implement the game well and it is a suitable game to make all students have the opportunity to listen, this game also makes students interested in enthusiasm and happy to take listening classes. The problem occurs because students do not have knowledge about the use of vocabulary mastery, and writing. When problems arise in the learning process listening to the teacher immediately provides a solution by discouraging students, to control the time the teacher helps students who have difficulty.
Based on of the result above, it is recommended for the teachers that this method of tongue twister game can be used for English subject or listening. Hopefully, this research provides new knowledge for all, especially in the context of education.
