THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DOMINO STORY GAME ON STUDENTS’ ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILL AT THE TENTH GRADE OF MA.NURUD-DHALAM GANDING SUMENEP

English language has four language skills that be mastered by the learners. They are listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The most important skill of four english language skills is speaking because speaking consists of students communication with other people to give information about something. So as an english teacher should choose the best way to make speaking class more interactive and enjoy. Domino Story Game is one of the game that the english teacher in MA. Nurud-Dhalam Ganding Sumenep has implemented teaching english speaking skill subject at the tenth grade.
There are three research focuses in this study. They are: The implementation of Domino Story Game, how the Domino Story Game enhance students’ speaking skill, and how students’ responses to the learning of Domino Story Game on students’ English speaking skill at the tenth grade of MA. Nurud-Dhalam Ganding Sumenep. In this research, the researcher uses qualitative research. Because the researcher just describes the data that she get through observation, interview, and documentation.
The result of this reseach found that the implementation of Domino Story Game on students’ english speaking skill at the tenth grade of MA. Nurud-Dhalam Ganding Sumenep was well implemented by the teacher. The teacher used three steps of the teaching learning process, they are: pre-teaching, whilst-teaching and post-teaching. Domino Story game enhances students speaking skill, because in the second step up to third step the students can tell the story based on the dominoes by their idea that get from the teacher gave in the implementation of Domino Story Game on students’ english speaking skill at the tenth grade of MA. Nurud-Dhalam Ganding Sumenep. Most of students gave their positive responses. The positive responses showed by the students through the implementation of Domino Story Game, the students are interested in the subject, the students more active and creative,the students are motivated, the student more enthusiastic in teaching learning process and the student enjoyable.
Based on the result of research above, Domino Story Game is effective to be implemented in the teaching speaking skill, because it can enhance students speaking skill. The teacher also implemented this game well so it also make students gave positive responses. Therefore, the teaching learning process of english speaking skill wa success.
From the result of reseach, it is also suggested for the english teacher to give more motivation and spirit for the student in every activities in the classroom.
