The Implementation of Feel and Think Game in Teaching Speaking Skill for The Seventh Grade Students of MTs Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah

Speaking is the ability to speak English. Therefore, speaking is an activity which expressing thought, ideas, argues, and the others, speaking activities can be considered as an attempt to be able to communicate in the target language. Teaching speaking skill is focused on making student active and creative. Therefore, the teacher implements game to motivate students in speaking class. Feel and think as a game has been implemented in teaching speaking skill for the seventh grade students of MTs Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah to motivate students in speaking class.
There are two research problems in this study. The first is how the teacher implements feel and think game in teaching speaking skill for the seventh grade students of MTs Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah. The second is how feel and think game helps students in learning speaking skill for the seventh grade students of MTs Darul Ulum II Bujur Tengah.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative as the approach of the research and kind of the research is descriptive. The data sources are the English teacher of seventh A grade and the students of this class. In collecting the data, the researcher uses some procedures those are observation, interview, and documentation. The researcher then analyzes the data by reduction, display, and verification. Additionally, for getting the validity of the data, the researcher used method triangulation.
The result of research showed feel and think game is implemented by the English teacher in teaching speaking skill well by combining the variations of the game. There are two meetings of the implementation and both of them are successful based on the observation checklist used by the researcher. The students are motivated in speaking while playing the game. Besides this game also helps students in many ways. Those are; it helps students to describe the object easily, it helps students to be talkactive in the class and it helps students to have a good pronunciation.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for the English teacher to be selective implementor in playing some games. It should be appropriate with the students’ level in order it can run well and the students are motivated in the play so that they can reach the goal.
