The Use of Imagine Technique on students' Speaking Skill at Eight Grade of SMPN Satu Atap 3 Camplong Sampang

Speaking is key to communicate. The teacher has to choose technique that the most suitable one for the students when taught his students. It is “imagine technique”. In this case, the teacher acts in front of the class without speaking a word then the students do and repeat my using his/her own word and or speak up.
There are two focuses of research in this study; how does teacher implement and the problem of The Use of Imagine Technique on Speaking Skill at Eight Grade of SMPN Satu Atap 3 Camplong Sampang. This study is to describe how teacher implement, the problem of The Use of Imagine Technique on Speaking Skill at Eight Grade of SMPN Satu Atap 3 Camplong Sampang.
In this study, the approach uses qualitative approach, and uses the descriptive design. Therefore, instruments, the researcher can divide the procedure of data collection with the steps below: interview (the researcher is unstructured interview because the researcher does not make and prepare a list of question. The purpose of the interview is to clarify the use of the data on the teacher’s way in teaching, student responses, and improving students’ skills), Observation (In this research, the researcher observes by non-participant observation. Because the researcher is not a member of teacher at school. The researcher only watched the teaching in learning process, then the researcher make note of even that happened.), and documentation (In this research, this method will be used to get students’ name list that will become the object of research, students’ score list, lesson plan and also picture).
The result showed Teacher implemented that technique; In short, the teacher implements the technique; the students close their eyes, calm the student’s mind, image something as like what the teacher said, the students open their eyes, and finally say or speak it up orally. While In short, the problem of the use of imagine technique are; The teacher has to repeat what he said about the topic, tries to explain more than before, has to make the instructions are suitable and not make the students in correct answer in image, And then he has to be patients because it needs long time, The students are confused in just one time explanation, They have to have long time to image what the teacher’s mean, And they have to have long time to answer or image it.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for the English teacher; the teacher has to improve technique on student speaking skill especially in the use of imagine technique. It makes classroom is enjoyable and interested So that teacher and students there is interaction.
