The use of Quantum Teaching Method on the Students’ Speaking Skill in SMPI Al – Falasah Karanggayam Omben Sampang

English is an interesting language to students because English as our foreign language. Study about English language that is to be interesting for students because one of the skills in English is speaking. Speaking skill is emphasize on students who learn English. It is very important because can make students communicate or speak each other. And to make the students are interest to speak, the English teacher implement of Quantum Teaching Method.
There are two problems on this research. Firstly, How is the implementation of Quantum Teaching on the Speaking Skill of SMPI Al – Falasah Karanggayam Omben? Secondly, what are the Students’ Response toward the Speaking Skill of SMPI Al – Falasah Karanggayam Omben ?. This study is to find out the ways of the teacher used of quantum teaching on the speaking skill of SMPI Al – Falasah Karanggayam Omben and to find out the students’ response toward the speaking skill of SMPI AL – Falasah Karanggayam Omben Sampang.
On this research,the the researcher uses qualitative approach, while kind of research which used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative. In collecting data, the researcher used three techniques. There are observation, interview, and documentation. And to analyze the data, the researcher using three steps namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/ verification.
The results of this research is the implementation of quantum teaching method that used by the teacher in speaking class at seventh grade of SMPI Al – Falasah Karanggayam Omben on the teaching learning process, the English teacher used three steps. They are opening activities, main activities, and closing activity. The positive respon by this method that used by teacher about technique of TANDUR, the students are interested and motivated to study and also the students’ don’t afraid to say something in teaching learning process and the students fun, happy and pleasant to receive the material that the teacher teach in the class.
Based on the result of this research, the use of quantum teaching method on the students’ speaking skill at seven grade of SMPI Al – Falasah Karanggayam Omben Sampang is success to implement by The English teacher and students have positive response they can speak. English orally and can practice in front of class in teaching learning process, especially to teach speaking.
