The Use of Dialog Memorization Technique on Students’ Speaking Skill at the first grade student’s in MA Al-Amin Pamekasan

English is the main foreign language. It is taught to the students of Pre elementary school up to the university. There are four skills to be mastered for students who study English. Those are, speaking, reading, writing and listening. But speaking is a major skill in English subject. So, as a teacher should use a good technique especially in teaching students speaking skill. Dialog Memorization Technique that have been used in teaching students speaking skill at the first grade student’s in MA Al-Amin Pamekasan. It suggestion for some teachers to choose one of a good techniques that suitable with the students in the classroom.
There are three problems in this study. The first, How the teacher use Dialog Memorization technique on student’s speaking skill at the the first grade student’s in MA Al-Amin Pamekasan. The second, What are the problems faced by the teacher in using Dialog Memorization technique on students speaking skill. And The third, How the teacher overcome the problems in using Dialog Memorization technique on students speaking skill.
In this research used a qualitative approach. It is a descriptive research because it described the use of Dialog Memorization technique on students speaking skill at the first grade student’s in MA Al-Amin Pamekasan, The problem faced by the teacher in using this technique, and the solution given by the teacher in using Dialog Memorization technique on students speaking skill. To collect the data, the researcher use an interview, observation directly and documentation.
The result of the study, Dialog Memorization technique has been used on students speaking skill at the first grade in MA Al-Amin Pamekasan. From the observation and interview that the researcher done, the researcher can conclude that Dialog Memorization technique can be continued by some teacher to teach speaking skill. It encourages the students to speak more and try to give a good idea of their speech.
