The English song is a medium to improve Englishlanguage skills of students in English class. Particularly, on students pronunciation skills. In the learning process a lot of medium used by the teachers in the classroom. as used by English teachers in SMPI Ulum Mambaul Al-Fattah Sana tengah Pasean Pamekasan used english song to improve the English language skills of students.
There are two problems in this research. Thefirst is Can English song influence to Pronuciation Skillsof the IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-2014, and the second is how statistically significant of English song influence to English Subject of the IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-2014.
The purpose in this research to know that how far theEnglish song influence to Pronuciation Skills of the IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-2014.
In this research, the researcher uses alternat desive hypothesis stated that English song can influence to English Subject of the IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-2014. In this research there are two variables, variable X is (English song) and variable Y is (English subject).
The resercher in this reseach used quantitative approach. The population in this research is all students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasanand the sample is IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-2014. The instrument in this research is questioner, documentation, and interview foradd the main data. The result of this stated that English song influence to English Subject of the IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-201, we can see that from compare “r-count” and “r-table”. Resuld of “r-count = 0,66 greater from “r-table” is 95% = 0,486.
Based on the result above, there isinfluence of English songto Pronunciation skillsin IX students at SMPI MambaulUlum Al-Fattah Sana Tengah PaseanPamekasan in the academic year 2013-2014, it is mean hypothesis in this research is recieved. So, pronunciation skills can influence by using english song in teaching and learning prosess.
