Conjunction is a word which connects two words or clauses or sentences, and shows the relation between them.Conjunction error is an error in writing that happened in process of writing, because the writer’s carless in putting the conjunction.Conjunction errors occur when aspects of two different events are falsely recognized or recalled as having occurred as parts of the same event. Writing skill is consists of two important elements, writing and skill. Writing is the activity of writing to produce something in written form, so that people can read, can perform, and can use it. Then, skill is the ability to do something well and it is also called as having experience or knowledge to be able to do something well. There are two research focuses in this study exactly. Above all they are: what are the conjunction errors of diaries on student’s writing skill at MA. AL-HUSAINI nyi’ nyi pesanggarpegantenanpamekasan, how do the English teacher of MA. AL-HUSAINI resolves the problem of conjunction error. In this research the researcher uses qualitative approach with kind of descriptive. The data collection procedures are obtained through observation, documentation and interview. The informants are the English teacher and the student of eleventh grade of MA. AL-HUSAINI nyi’ nyi pesanggar pegantenan pamekasan. The validity of data is used triangulation based on the data source. The result of this research showed many conjunction errors of diaries on student’s English writing skill at the eleventh grade of MA. AL-HUSAINI. Most of students write diary which most of conjunction error such as coordinate conjunction and subordinate conjunction. The English teacher solves the problem by correcting together the student’s diary assignment. The conclusion is there are some conjunction errors of diaries on student’s English writing skill at the eleventh grade of MA. AL-HUSAINI that must corrected by the teacher and give solution to solve the problem. By writing diary, the students will feel easier to develop their ideas, to express their feeling, to master in grammar or in vocabulary and the learners can write their ideas, their feelings with freely. It is suggested to all elements that bring the educational system to train the students in writing subject in order to increase the writing skill.
