The Analysis of Students Ways in Acquiring New Vocabulary From Mobile Legends Game Features at Eighth Semester of TBI in IAIN Madura

In learning vocabulary the students must have their own ways. There are
many ways used by students in acquiring new vocabulary by using Mobile Legends
game features. Mobile Legend provides a variety of features in which these features
provide good visual and auditory features. The ways and activities in acquiring new
vocabulary used by students is different based on based on which features they use.
There are two kinds of research focus in this research. The first, how to
analyze of students ways in acquiring new vocabulary from Mobile Legends
features at eighth semester of TBI in IAIN Madura. The second, what the most
features used by students in acquiring new vocabulary from Mobile Legends game
at eighth semester of TBI in IAIN Madura. It aims to analyze the ways that students
use in acquiring new vocabulary and describe all features that use by students in
acquiring new vocabulary to find out what the most features use by the students.
The researcher used qualitative approach with descriptive as kind of
research. The researcher collected data from interview and documentation. To
analyze the data, the researcher used data condensation, data display, and
verification. Then the researcher used triangulation technique for checking the
credibility of the data.
The results of this study there are many ways that students used in acquiring
new vocabulary namely reading, listening, and interactive ways. When using that
way, there are several things that are used in learning and acquiring vocabulary,
namely guessing the context, using translation, repeating, and using the new
vocabulary into daily life. Many features used by students in acquiring new
vocabulary namely; hero voice features, voice over features, items preparation
features, chat features, hero stories, translate features, open voice features, quick
chat features, events features. The feature most used by students to acquire new
vocabulary is the hero voice feature.
