Student’s Speaking Difficulties in Learning of English Specific Purpose at 10th Grade of Software Engineering of SMKN 1 Proppo

Speaking an important thing for someone to be able to interact with other
people, where talking can get information or exchange information. Where, based
on field studies at SMKN 1 Proppo, many o the students experience difficulties in
learning English. One of them is the difficulties in speaking English well and
fluently, where the purpose of this research is to find out Students Speaking
Difficulties.
In this case, there are three problems that are being study, namely first, what
are student’s speaking difficulties in learning of English specific purpose at 10th
grade of software engineering of SMKN 1 Proppo. Secondly, what are the factor
causes student’s speaking difficulties in learning of English specific purpose at 10th
grade of software engineering of SMKN 1 Proppo. Thirdly, how do the student’s
solving their speaking difficulties in learning of English specific purpose at 10th
grade o software engineering of SMKN 1 Proppo.
This study use a qualitative approach with use a descriptive type data to
collection procedure obtain through at observation, interview, and documentation
where the subject is students at 10th grade o software engineering of SMKN 1
Proppo. To check the data validity the resercher use technical triangulation.
From this research, researchers was found some difficulties, the causes and
how students solve their speaking English. First, the student’s speaking difficulties
in learning of English specific purpose is: difficulty to pronounce, how to make
sentence structure, difficulty to spell vocabulary and made mistake. Secondly, the
causes of the student’s speaking difficulties in learning of English specific purpose
is: have a little English vocabulary, did not know what to say, did not much do the
practice speak English and have a feeling nervous. Thirdly, the student’s was solve
in their speaking difficulties in learning English specific purpose which is by means
of: a lot of English practice, increase memorizing and reading English vocabulary,
get used to speaking English in daily activities, most do practice speaking English
with friends or alone and learning hard really to speak in front of the classroom by
using English.
