The Borrowing Words Of Mandar To Madurese In Masalembu Island

The research has two problem formulations. The first, Borrowing
words of mandar into madurese. secondly, the meaning and usage of
mandar words which are borrowed into mandar. From these two research
problems, there are two objectives of the research. First, to find Mandarin
borrowing words to Madurese. Second, to describe the meaning and use
of the Mandarin language to Madurese. The data found in the sources of
the Vinay translator are pure borrowing and naturalized borrowing, then
the researcher presents them in a table. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis
method. Researchers used interview techniques, observation and
documentation in collecting data. The researcher wants to find out loan
words using the translator Vinay Darbelnet. The data were collected from the documentation Then, the data
were analyzed using the spelling adjustment table of borrowing words and
kinds of borrowing words between. The researcher found 10 utterances
translated using a certain translation procedure. To answer the research
questions, the data are classified into translation procedures which are
used in the translation process with Vinay and Darbelnet translation
procedures. The results of this study indicate that naturalized loans and pure
loans are types of loans. The research reveals that out of 10 standard
words there are 4 standard and 6 no standard and out of 10 naturalized
words there Will be 10 borrowing words categorized into borrowing
because those words have been adjusted to the grammatical system' of
the target language either ibn term of sounds and written form
