An Analysis of Code Mixing on Whatsaap Daily Status on Pamekasan Army Kpopers

As in this research Where the researcher raises the object of language research or analysis
Code mixing in the text contained in the whatsapp status. Code mixing is process of mixing
two language or more language without changing topic.
There are two research focuses in this study, First, what languages are often used
by the Pamekasan kpopers army? Which Secondly, what types of code mixing are used in
writing on whatsapp daily status?. So, In this study, the researcher mentions what types of
code mixing and language are used in writing on whatsapp Daily status. The purpose of
this research is to Know what types of code mixing and the language they often use in
writing captions. The significant of this research is to find out that they often use of code
mixing in their daily life and types of code mixing they use.
The researcher uses a qualitative approach with content analysis. Main source using
whatsapp daily status by Kpopers army Pamekasan to get Data. In collecting data,
researchers apply Familiarizing and organizing, coding and interpreting or representing.
In this case, data analysis shows that there are three types of code mixing, namely
insertion, alteration and congruent lexicalization. Here the researchers have found several
languages used such as Korean, English and Indonesian and two type of code mixing that
is insertion and alteration. All of the data is 20 data, 11 the autho use for the alteration and
9 for the insetion
