An Analysis of Islamic Positive Parenting in the “Instant Family” Movie Based on Mohammad Fauzil Adhim’s Perspective

Positive parenting aims to create safe and comfortable conditions in the
family. Because every human born with fitrah, which is mean each individual has
their own set of beliefs about how to live their lives, but usually when it comes to
religion, our parent’s religion will determine whether we are Muslim, Christian or
Jew. Talk about parenting in Islam, Islamic positive parenting is parenting that is
based on love, mutual respect and stimulates children's growth and development
based on the values contained in the Qur'an and Hadith. There are two objectives
of this study. First to analyze Islamic Positive Parenting in the “Instant Family”
movie based on Adhim’s perspective, and second is to know about the impact of
Islamic Positive Parenting in the “Instant Family” movie. In this research, the
researcher uses contain analysis method through hermeneutics approach. The
technique to collect the data consist of some procedures such are identify the
dialogue and the impact in the movie that contain Islamic Positive Parenting based
on Mohammad Fauzil Adhim’s perspective. The data dealing with the purpose of
the study. Data analysis is used to answer research problem or examine the
hypothesis itself, and the researcher uses content analysis. After analyzing the data
that was taken from the “Instant Family” movie, the researcher found 6 Islamic
Positive Parenting which is appeared in the movie. It can be analyzed from how the
characters in the movie talks, does something, and does an activity, but the most
finding that the researcher found is through the dialogue of the movie than physical
appearance. The six kinds of Islamic Positive Parenting that the researcher found in
the “Instant Family” movie, there are supporting healthy attitude, Qoulan Sadida,
promoting attachment, cheer up your child! Do not burden them, cultivate selfconfidence in children and build children’s characters. This study can be a new
motivation for them who want to be have a good parenting in their lives. Moreover,
Muslim should be more amazing when they are being knowledgeable about how to
treat their children, how to adore them, and how to express their feelings
