The Analysis of Student’ Descriptive Texts in Writing Identification at the Tenth Grade of MA. Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan

This research consists of problems, research objectives, methods, research
findings and conclusion. This research focused on identification in writing
descriptive texts. Descriptive texts is included in the type of text that is not too
difficult but there are still some difficulties faced by students when writing this
essay, this is the background for researcher to conduct this research.This research
was to find out the extent of the tenth grade students’ identification in writing
descriptive text. The research was conducted in the tenth grade of MA Matsaratul
Huda Panempan Pamekasan. This study was also to determine the extent to which
students’ abilities in writing descriptive text and supporting factors in the learning
process. Basically, identifying this text were not difficult even though its not easy
eiher. To make it easier, the first step we have to do is first understand the
meaning of descriptive text. As were known, descriptive text is a text that perpose
to explain a person, place, object or other thing in detail. This text is a personal
impression, or the content is in the form of an opinion about something that is
described.
This research consists of two research objectives namely: 1. How does the
students’ write the descriptive text identification at the tenth grade of MA.
Matsaratul Huda 2. Factors that suport the students’ writing descriptive texts
identification at the tenth grade of MA. Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan.
This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The instruments used
were the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The information
were english teacher and students at the tenth grader MA Matsaratul Huda
Panempan Pamekasan. Checking the validity of the data is done by extending
participation and tringulation. The researcher used triangulation of technique and
tringulatuon of time because requires researchers to check data from the same
source with different technique and the planned time using the same method to
understand data and information.
Based on the results of this study, it can be said that the ability
identification of the students at the tenth graders of MA Matsaratul Huda
Panempan Pamekasan are good, while the factors that suppport the students’
ability in writing descriptive text are as follows: a). There is a mature teacher
preparation for learning, as has been explained by him, namely the media b).
There is the support and attention of parents, parents who always motivate and
always accompany their children to learn c). A cooperative relationship between
teacher and students who play an activate role in the implementation of learning,
learning will run smoothly if there is a cooperative relationship between teachers
and student, thus creating a good and comfortable learning atmosphere
