Language is a tool for communication between two or more people to make a
conversation. Each country has a language that is different in terms of words, accents and
sentence rules in its use, especially in English and Arabic where the sentences contain
adjectives. In this thesis, the researcher uses the Magazine activita edisi XLIV and XLV as the
subject. This magazine is interesting because this magazine is the creations of IAIN Madura
students. Researchers examined the two texts in magazines that contain adjectives which of
course have similarities and differences in the rules in the preparation of sentences.
The research focus of this thesis is what are the forms of adjectives between the two
languages in the Magazine activita edisi XLIV and XLV and the analysis of the similarities
and differences in the use of adjectives in English and Arabic in the activita magazine. Then
the goal of the researcher is to analyze the forms of adjectives in the two magazines and to find
out the similarities and differences of adjectives between English and Arabic in the Magazine
activita edisi XLIV and XLV.
This thesis uses a qualitative approach and uses content analysis. The type of research
is library research. By using this approach, the researcher analyzed the data in the form of a
magazine. Data is taken from beginning to end. Then the researcher collects data by making
observations and then analyzing the data in sentences that use the adjective.
The results of this thesis are forms of adjectives in English and Arabic magazines,
such as limiting adjective, descriptive adjective, naat haqiqi, naat sababi, similarities and
differences include, definition, form, word, position, meaning
