THE USE OF TEACHERS FEEDBACK ON READING SKILL AT SEVEN GRADE OF SMPN 2 PROPPO BATUKALANGAN

Teaching learning in English has four aspects there are speaking, listening, reading and writing. But here focus on reading, written feedback is the most obvious from of feedback you will receive, and it may come a variety of scources. It help student identify their own strengths and weaknesses, which in case of the letter. It will make student know how to go about improving themselves and become effective writers.
There are two problems in this research. The first, how does the teacher give feedback to students on reading skill At seven grade of SMPN 2 Proppo Batukalangan. The second, how does is the response of using feedback on reading skill at seven grade of SMPN 2 Proppo Batukalangan. Beside that, also there are two research objectives in this research. The Firs , to know how the teachers give feedback on reading skill At seven grade of SMPN 2 Proppo Batukalangan. The second, to know the response of using teacher feedback on reading skill At seven grade of SMPN 2 Proppo Batukalangan.
In this research. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research while the kind of research is descriptive, the data are gotten by interview, observation and documentation, and this research took place for Eigh day from 19th Maret 2019 up to 26th Maret 2019.
The result of the research showed that the teachers also uses peer editing to help the teachers manages the time in correcting students reading and to know students capability. After the student have done their practice in reading, they came forward one by one and the teachers give a score. The teachers uses some of types in giving feedback those are: direct feedback, marginal feedback, positive feedback, and text-specific feedback. The students get many response from using teachers feedback to the students on reading skill At seven grade of SMPN 2 Proppo Batukalangan. As like they can get more knowledge, know their mistake, and weakness in reading. So they can improve their reading and read well in the next reading.
