Internet (Technology Information), as the one of innovation learning, is used by neither the teachers nor the students from the Elementary School up to the Colleges or Universities.Writing is a process of person’s written works such as books, articles, novel, short story, poem, etc. Related to the 2013 curriculum that make students must be active the English teacher chooses the internet as a new media learning process. Especially in writing ability on greeting card material. Besides, internet does not only increase children’ knowledge in writing , but also make the children master their vocabulary because Internet uses English language and also when we write English can predict the error spelling to the right spelling.
There are two problems in this research. The first,do the students at the eighth grade of SMP Ma’arif 4 Panempan have higher achievement of their writing after being taught by using internetand the second,how is the significant effectiveness of internet on students writing ability at the eight grade of SMP Ma’arif 4 Panempan.

So, this research conducted to know whether the students at the eighth grade of SMP Ma’arif 4 Panempan have higher achievement of their writing after being taught by using internet or not.And then,to explain the significant effectiveness of internet on students’writing ability at eighth grade of SMP Ma’arif 4 Panempan.
The researcher used quantitaive research with pre-experimental design, namely one group pretest-posttest design. And the researcher uses statistical method, namely t-test to analyzethe effectiveness of internet they are variable X (Independent variable) and variable Y ( Dependent variable). Variable X is using internet and variable Y is students’ writing ability. The population of this research is 27 students. And then the reseacher using test and documentation to get scores.

The result, the effectiveness of internet as media on students writing ability at the eight grade of SMP Ma’arif 4 Panempan Pamekasan such as, it is proven after comparing “t” value of this research with the table of coefficient value of “t” value.Thetvalueis364.3192, it is higher than the value of coefficient value of “t” table or tt either in significance 5% or 1% with N=25. The table of 5% is 0.381and the table of 1% is 0.487.
