Teaching Vocabulary is something important to make easy to understand all about english like speaking, listening, writing, reading and grammar because vocabulary is the key to know about english, but the difficulties is how to make the students easy to memorize the vocabulary, because when we have many vocabulary that we memorized so we can easy to understand about english more.
This research is focused on two problems which are the main discussion of this research , 1) . How does the teacher teach vocabulary by using gesture in TPQ Nurul Karomah?. 2). How do the students response when the teacher use gesture in teaching vocabulary of TPQ Nurul Karomah?.
In this research the researcher take place at TPQ Nurul Karomah Buddagan Pademawu Pamekasan and the approach of this research is qualitative, the data are gotten from observation, interview, and documentation.
Based on the observation and the interview that using gesture in teaching vocabulary at TPQ Nurul Karomah is one of media that make the teaching learning process be active , make the stdents easy to memorize the vocabulary and make the students to be creative because in this case the students must know about the gesture of the vocabulary that practiced. While the steps in teaching vocabulary by using gesture are the students has to practice the vocabulary in front of the class and the other students guess about the meaning of the vocabulary that practice in front of the class.
The students respons when the teacher teach vocabulary by using gesture is the students very intredting to gesture because its made the students easy to memorize new vocabulary and its made the students active in the class.
